HRC exports fall in Jan-Jul 2026

Turkey exported 1.45 mln tons of HRC during the first seven months of 2026, down 16 pct YoY, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data.

Italy remained the largest destination, taking 348,200 tons, followed by Spain with 170,900 tons. Belgium and Greece ranked next with 88,500 tons and 84,100 tons, respectively.

In July 2026, Turkey exported 128,800 tons of HRC, down 25 pct YoY and sharply lower than around 288,600 tons in June.
