Iron & steel exports up 13pct YoY in 4M FY25

Iran’s iron and steel exports rose 13pct YoY in the first four months of the current Iranian year (starting March 21), adding 469,000 tons, according to the Iranian Steel Producers Association (ISPA).

The export value of the iron and steel production chain increased 7pct YoY to over USD 2.3 bln. Semi-finished steel shipments grew 15pct YoY over the period, while iron ore concentrate exports surged 78pct from a year earlier.
