Mughal Steel profit rises in FY26

Mughal Iron & Steel Industries Limited (Mughal Steel) reported a net profit of PKR 2.49 bln (USD 9 mln) for the financial year ended June 30, 2026, up 158 pct from PKR 965.5 mln a year earlier.

Net sales declined 13 pct YoY to PKR 78 bln (USD 281.4 mln), from PKR 89.4 bln. However, gross profit increased to PKR 8.66 bln (USD 31.2 mln) from PKR 8.14 bln.

With an annual production capacity of around 1 mln tons, Mughal Steel produces billets, rebar and structural steel products, along with copper ingots primarily exported to China.
