Windus supplies stainless steel pipes for Jafurah desalination project

Chinese manufacturer Windus Enterprises Inc. has secured an order to supply super duplex stainless steel seamless pipes for the desalination and industrial water system supporting Saudi Aramco’s Jafurah gas project in Saudi Arabia.

The pipes will be used for desalination and industrial water transmission applications, where high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength are required due to exposure to saline and chloride-rich environments.

Windus will manufacture and inspect the pipes in accordance with ASTM A790 and project specifications before delivery.
