Kardemir cuts billet prices

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has lowered its billet prices, as per the latest price list.

The company’s S235JR grade billets are now offered at USD 530 per ton EXW, and B420 grade billets at USD 545 per ton EXW, reflecting a USD 5 per ton reduction from the prices announced on August 22, 2024.

Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
