Kardemir cuts rebar prices

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has reduced its rebar prices in the latest pricing update.

The company is now offering 12-32 mm rebar at TRY 20,920 (USD 609) per ton EXW, down from TRY 21,455 (USD 626) per ton EXW set in late October, based on an exchange rate of TRY 34.2 per USD.

Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
