Kardemir hikes billet prices

Turkish steel producer Kardemir has raised its billet prices by USD 5 per ton, as per its latest price list.

The updated price for S235JR grade billets is now USD 500 per ton EXW, while B420 grade billets are priced at USD 525 per ton EXW. These adjustments reflect an increase compared to the prices announced on November 28, 2024.

Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company’s product portfolio includes blooms, billets, rebars, profiles, and various other steel products, with manufacturing facilities strategically located in Karabuk.
