Kardemir hikes rebar prices

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has increased its rebar prices, according to the company’s latest price list.

The new price for 12-32 mm rebar is set at TRY 21,000 per ton ex-works (approximately USD 544), up from TRY 20,700 (USD 540) on April 25, 2025. This is based on an exchange rate of TRY 38.3 per USD.

Founded in 1937, Kardemir is a major steel player in Turkey with a production capacity of 3.5 mln tons per year. The company produces blooms, billets, rebars, profiles along with other steel products. The company’s production facilities are located in Karabuk.
