Kardemir raises billet prices in latest sales round

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has increased its billet prices by USD 8 per ton compared with levels announced on September 24.

In its latest price list, the company is offering S235JR grade billets at USD 500 per ton EXW and B420 grade billets at USD 510 per ton EXW.

Established in 1937, Kardemir is a key player in Turkey’s steel industry, with a 3.5 mln tons annual production capacity. The company manufactures billets, blooms, rebars, and profiles at its Karabuk-based facilities.
