Kardemir raises billet prices in new sales round

Turkish steelmaker Kardemir has opened a new billet sales round, lifting prices by USD 15 per ton compared with its previous offers on November 5, 2025.

The company is now offering S235JR billets at USD 515 per ton EXW and B420 billets at USD 525 per ton EXW.

The price increase comes amid higher scrap costs and improving domestic rebar demand.

Established in 1937, Kardemir is a key player in Turkey’s steel industry, with a 3.5 mln tons annual production capacity. The company manufactures billets, blooms, rebars, profiles and other steel products at its Karabuk-based facilities.
